EA also touts over 20,000 real players pulled from top-league data, which is the backbone that makes all these modes feel grounded in actual football.

Who it’s for

This is built for people who already love soccer sims or who want to manage, build, and compete with real clubs and players rather than abstract teams. If you’re invested in Ultimate Team as a long-term hobby, the new Live Events and Champs changes give you more reason to keep playing. Career Mode fans get a reason to come back too, with the international Manager Challenges adding some texture to what can otherwise feel like a repetitive loop.
