Epic Games has confirmed its July 2026 free game rotation, keeping the weekly giveaway cadence that Indian PC gamers rely on to build libraries without spending on every title. Two games drop each week — claim them before the Thursday reset or they are gone for good.
July 2026 confirmed free games
Epic’s storefront now lists the first two weeks of July. Titles and dates (IST claim windows end Thursday 10:30 AM unless noted):
- July 3–10: Remnant II (base game) — co-op soulslike shooter, strong on mid-range Indian gaming PCs.
- July 3–10: Spiritfarer — cozy management sim, low spec requirements, great for laptops.
- July 10–17: Wild Hearts — action hunt game; check storage (~80 GB) before claiming on limited SSDs.
- July 10–17: 911 Operator — strategy sim, lightweight install.
Weeks three and four are typically teased on Epic’s blog the Monday before each drop. Bookmark the Epic free games page and enable store notifications.
How to claim from India
- Create or sign in to an Epic account (Google login works).
- Open the free game tile → Get → complete checkout at ₹0.
- Install via the Epic Games Launcher — use Mumbai/Chennai download servers if speeds are slow.
- Games stay in your library permanently once claimed; you do not need an active subscription.
Epic does not geo-block Indian accounts for these giveaways. Payment method is not required for free titles.
What to watch for
Some Epic freebies are base-game only — DLC and season passes stay paid. Check the product page before assuming you get the complete edition.
Storage is the main pain point on budget builds: queue large installs during off-peak hours and uninstall after finishing if SSD space is tight.
