Your Lair acts as a home base where you stash loot, forge and enchant items, run an alchemy lab, and take on quests, and it can come under direct attack in tower defense style side missions where you place traps to hold the line. You’re also managing a Resistance movement, gearing up allied fighters rather than just your own character. Combat skills get modified by Rage points you build up in fights, letting you stack temporary boosts onto your abilities, and a runecrafting system lets you break down artifacts into components you can rebuild into new gear. Lady Katarina, a ghost companion with her own skill trees, fights alongside you the whole way, and there’s a monstrous pet, the Chimera, that you can develop over time.
