How it plays

Wind speed, bullet drop, and distance all factor into whether your shot lands, so you are constantly reading the environment before you pull the trigger, not just aiming and firing. Breathing control comes into play too, since steadying your character between heartbeats is part of lining up a clean hit. When you do connect, the game rewards you with a bullet cam that follows the round to its target, which never really stops being satisfying even after you have seen it a dozen times. The AI is built to flank and push you into closer engagements where a sniper rifle is at a disadvantage, so part of the challenge is picking your position and staying disciplined rather than getting drawn into a firefight you are not equipped for.
