Enemy Front drops you into occupied Europe as Robert Hawkins, an American journalist turned fighter running weapons and sabotage missions alongside resistance cells during World War 2. CI Games built it on CRYENGINE and pitched it as a break from the tightly scripted WW2 shooters that came before it, aiming for something closer to a sandbox where you pick your own way through each mission instead of following a rail.

How it plays

The pitch here is freedom of approach. You can go loud and just fight your way through, post up with a sniper rifle and pick off targets from range, or slip through as a saboteur and let explosives do the talking. The campaign moves you across France, Germany, Norway, and the Warsaw Uprising, so the settings shift even as the core loop of scouting a position, choosing a method, and improvising when it goes sideways stays consistent. Weapon variety spans the usual pistols, SMGs, and assault rifles alongside period-specific resistance hardware like the Sten gun and the Welrod, so your loadout can shape your playstyle almost as much as the level layout does.
