A charismatic, silver-tongued build can talk down plenty of fights that a brute would have to shoot through. You can recruit companions with their own personalities and backgrounds to round out your party, or go it alone if you’d rather not manage a squad. Six factions are carving up the ruins, and where you land with them, as friend, rival, or something in between, shapes the world state around you.

Who it’s for

This is a game for people who like their RPGs slower and more deliberate: reading dialogue options carefully, weighing whether a fight is worth starting, and caring about the difference between a diplomatic solution and a violent one. If you grew up on old-school isometric RPGs and miss that pacing, the pitch here is obvious.
