About this game
Figryne Cast Studio Engine isn’t a game in the way you’d normally use that word here. It’s a VTuber broadcasting toolkit that lets you take a VRM avatar and run an entire stream, tracking, effects, audio, and the actual RTMP output, out of a single app instead of stitching together OBS, a capture card, and a pile of plugins. If you’ve ever tried to get a VTuber setup running from scratch, you know how much of that process is just fighting software that wasn’t built to talk to each other. This one is built around the idea that it should all live in one window.
How it plays
There’s no level design here, the “gameplay” is you setting up and running a broadcast. You track your face, hands, and eyes through a webcam, and if your model supports Perfect Sync, the app drives all 52 blendshapes from that single camera without needing an iPhone in the mix. The motion gets smoothed with rule-based processing so you’re not fighting webcam jitter on stream. From there you build out scenes, complete with stinger transitions, captions, live comment overlays, background video, and screen or USB capture, and switch between them live. A built-in LOOK panel handles bloom, depth of field, vignette, LUT color grading, and lighting, so your cinematic polish happens in-app instead of in a separate editor. The audio side runs a 5-channel mixer with a real-time voice changer and a standard effects chain (compression, de-essing, reverb, and so on), and streaming itself is just pasting your RTMP key for YouTube, Twitch, or anywhere else, in either landscape or vertical 9:16.
Who it’s for
This is squarely for people already streaming or about to start as a VTuber, especially anyone tired of the traditional OBS-plus-plugins pipeline and looking to consolidate. If you already own a VRM model and just want tracking and broadcasting handled without an engineering project, this fits neatly into that gap. It’s less interesting if you’re not doing avatar-based streaming at all, or if you’ve already got a finely tuned OBS setup you’re happy with, there’s not much reason to switch tools that are working. Mac users on Apple Silicon and Windows 10/11 users are both covered, and there’s a demo that gives you five-minute sessions to test the tracking and look of it before committing.
Is it worth it?
For anyone actively streaming as a VTuber, a tool that folds tracking, scene direction, color grading, and RTMP output into one app removes a genuinely annoying amount of setup friction, and that’s worth paying for on its own. It’s a specialized tool rather than something with broad appeal, so the value really depends on whether avatar streaming is something you’re doing or planning to do. If it is, this is the kind of software that pays for itself the first time it saves you from debugging a plugin conflict mid-stream, and it’s a reasonable pickup whenever it’s discounted. If you’re only curious, the demo is the better first step before deciding to buy at all.
