How it plays

The campaign runs you through more than a dozen missions spread across a handful of very different environments, from dense jungle to frozen tundra, and the mission design leans on that variety to keep things from feeling repetitive. The signature trick is the toolkit: optical camouflage that lets you slip past patrols, drones for scouting ahead, and augmented reality overlays that mark enemies and objectives before you commit to an approach. You’re encouraged to scout, tag threats, and pick your entry point rather than just charging in, though the game is just as happy to let you switch into a more aggressive, over-the-shoulder cover shooter when a fight breaks out. Gunsmith mode is the other big pillar, letting you strip down and rebuild your weapons from a large pool of parts so your loadout actually reflects how you like to play, whether that’s suppressed and quiet or built for close-quarters chaos.
