About this game

Rebirth Pub takes a premise you don’t see much: your character dies, gets a second chance from a benevolent deity, and lands back on Earth (well, a quiet medieval town) as the new owner of a run-down tavern. From there, Seikou Soft and HimitsuCP mash together three genres that don’t usually share a shelf: pub management, roguelike dungeon crawling, and a dating sim built around three very distinct heroines. It’s an odd combination on paper, but the loop of earning your keep in the dungeon and spending it behind the bar gives the game a rhythm that a straight management sim or a straight roguelike wouldn’t have on its own.

How it plays

Your days and nights serve different purposes. By day, you head out into dungeons to fight through waves of enemies with what the game describes as simple, accessible combat, picking up Soul Gems and Recipes as you go. By night, you take those ingredients back to your pub and turn them into the food, drink, and atmosphere that keep the place running and profitable. The wealth and reputation you build from both halves of that loop feed directly into the game’s third layer: getting to know Nicole, Irene, and Serena, three heroines with their own histories and reasons for showing up in your new life. Success in the dungeon and behind the bar isn’t just about the money. It’s what opens the door to deeper relationships with them.

Who it’s for

If you like games that let you switch gears, grinding out combat and loot in the morning, then settling into the calmer rhythm of running a business at night, this scratches that itch. It’ll also appeal to people who enjoy anime-style visual novels and romance arcs with some weight to them, since each heroine comes with her own backstory and emotional hook rather than being a blank slate. It’s less suited to players looking for a deep, systems-heavy RPG or a punishing roguelike, since the adventuring side sounds more like a supporting mechanic than the main event. And if character-driven romance content with mature undertones isn’t your thing, this one’s easy to skip.

Is it worth it?

For the specific audience this is built for, fans of hybrid management sims with a narrative and romance backbone, there’s a decent amount packed in here: combat, resource gathering, business management, and three separate relationship arcs to follow. That’s a lot of genre for one package. It’s the kind of niche, personality-driven game that tends to reward patience rather than delivering instant spectacle, so it’s a natural one to pick up during a sale rather than at launch, especially if you’re not already sure the pub-and-dungeon loop is for you. Try it when the price dips and let the tone win you over.
